Mars the Marble Bengal rescue kitten at 9-weeks old. One of the color pattern signs of a true Bengal cat is the asymmetrical color pattern on the different sides of the cat. Having said that there are a great many true Bengals whose asymmetrical traits are so subtle they cannot be found, but with Mars he the swirl pattern on one side is vastly different than the pattern on his other side (i.e. so different I thought there was no swirl on one side). Mars color is still developing, yet the reality his swirl pattern being so different on the two sides of his body and other differences will not change. Mar's mother has developed tons of Bengal glitter since her rescue and I suspect when Mars matures he too will develop glitter in his coat, though how much cannot be known.. In any case the asymmetrical nature of the marble Bengal color pattern is quite distinct in Mars where in most marble Bengals it is oftentimes extremely subtle to the point where it basically cannot be seen and in some cases the asymmetrical that is desired seems not to exist on particular cats - they're still distinctly beautiful anyway.....................................................

Please review the birth dates of kittens to know whether or not they could be weaned yet.
